Quality Assurance in Manufacturing

Stringent quality assurance procedures in manufacturing patented TARCA track include x-ray testing.  This is the basis for certifying a mimimum 100% welding penetration for maximum strength, safety, and rigidity.  Extreme care is taken during track fabrication to maintain dimensional tolerances.

Benefits:

  • Tracks are straight and true with minimum distortion
  • Can handle dynamic loading
  • Speeds erection time and saves labor costs because little or no shimming is required
  • Load distribution is uniform
  • Ensures longer life of track and carrier/end truck components

Limitations of Competitive Track:

With some other competitive track, the welds are not continuous and none are certified for 100% weld penetration.  Poor penetration in welds can produce dangerous prying actions in service.  Tracks that are poorly welded are not held to the close straightness tolerances offered in patented TARCA track.  As a result other patented track can exhibit poor characteristics in handling lateral dynamic loading.
