Provisions for Supporting Electrification Assemblies

All webs on patented TARCA track sizes 10" thru 24" and SUPER TARCA sizes 16" thru 22" are drilled with a pair of holes every 33".  All larger tracks are drilled with a pair of holes every 5'6".  This allows quick and easy mounting of SAFPWRBAR electrification supports.

Benefits:

• Installation is easier during initial installation or later
• lowers costly field labor costs
• correct alignment of conductor bars is assured
• collector-conductor reliability is increased

Limitations of Competitive Track:

In other patented track offerings, no standard holes or other provisions are made at the time of manufacture for supporting electrification assemblies.  Of course, these types of track result in higher costs for field assembly of electrification components.

I-beams exhibit the same drawbacks.  In fact, if the top part of the web is not exactly square with the top flange, the resulting support mounting affects the proper sliding conductor operation.
