Patented track underhung bridge cranes are normally used for loads to 20 tons. The under hung crane has the distinct advantage of transferring loads directly to another under hung crane in another bay or to a monorail line without costly time-consuming rehandling of the load.
Underhung cranes are supported from the specially designed raised tread patented TARCA or SUPER TARCA track and can include single girder, double girder, two runway, multiple runway, transfer type and low headroom systems .
With patented track underhung cranes the effective area of operation is not confined to the inner dimensions of the runway. Virtually every cubic foot of space in open bay manufacturing area and storage facilities can be reached to lift, carry, hold, position, stack, turn or set loads of all sizes, shapes, and weights.
