Business:  Bus and small vehicle maintenance facility

Application:  Picking up and moving bus and small vehicle components in a motor repair, and machine shop area

The Problem:  Parts were heavy and it took several people or a fork truck to move them around the shop. Worker's safety was an issue due to the lifting and moving of these heavy parts.

Alternatives:   Structural steel I-Beams were looked into but their wear life is a great deal less than patented track. Compatibility of components and future product expansion were also an issue with I-Beam.

Crane Chosen:  A twin loop monorail system with 4 manual switches and 2 spur tracks, 310 linear ft. long

Lifting Device:  3 electric chain hoists

Why this product was selected:  This facility had other CT products which the workers had been very happy with.  CT was also chosen because of the long wear life of patented tarca track and the fact that the system was easily expandable in the future.
